Moor up by a shore side town as Mahalath wants to do some shopping. I point out that we don’t need any provisions but she informs me that she doesn’t want to purchase any provisions; she just wants to go shopping. Although, to me, this is puzzling, leaving Mahalath to her shopping, I wander into the town centre where, seeing a little brazier; I use some of Juan’s Special Reserve and prepare some hot toddy, which I share with passers by. As a consequence, the town centre becomes a lamentable scene of befuddled disorderliness.
